Fossil fuel thermal power plants account for almost 60% of Russian electricity and heat. Steam turbine units make 80% this amount. The main method steam unit efficiency improvement is the increase in initial parameters’ temperature pressure. This reduces fossil consumption harmful emissions but requires application heat-resistant steel. steel’s heat resistance leads to a non-linear price increase, larger more steel costs. One methods improving without significant capital cost equipment an external combustion chamber. These allow outside boiler need use alloys superheaters pipelines between turbine. most promising hydrogen–oxygen chambers, which produce with high purity parameters. To reduce high-temperature turbines, it possible cooling system supply coolant thermally stressed elements. According calculations, reduction due 0.6–1.27%. superheating up 720 °C chambers instead improves by 0.27%. At temperatures 800 °C, 850 900 caused 4.09–5.68%, 7.47–9.73%, 8.28–10.04%, respectively.
